This directory contains the ORTEP-III manual in Adobe Acrobat PDF
format.  The files require Adobe's free Acrobat Reader for reading and
printing.  Acrobat Reader is available at ftp.adobe.com in the
directory /pub/adobe/Acrobat.

Files with the extension ".pdf" are uncompressed PDF files.  Files with
the extension ".gz" are the same files that have been compressed with
GZIP.  The GZIPed files must be downloaded as BINARY, and they require
the free GZIP utility to uncompress them.

GZIP for computers other than Macintosh may be found at GNU ftp mirror
sites such as gatekeeper.dec.com in the directory /pub/GNU.  MacGzip
for Macintosh may be found at info-mac ftp mirror sites such as
mirrors.aol.com in the directory /pub/info-mac/cmp.  Stuffit Expander
should also work on Macintosh.
