NEWS:
9th January 2004: Improved support for sub-process and shared memory
operation e.g.
FIT2D can be better integrated into a high performance data
acquisition system.
Updated reference manual.
18th November 2004: "PROJECTIONS" command added to the "FILE SERIES" interface
allowing easy summing of regions onto projection lines ("slices") from whole
series of images.

HST: HIGH SPEED TOMOGRAPHY
HST is a program system for highly efficient reconstruction of tomography data
using the back-projection method. (Fourier based reconstruction techniques can
be faster but tend to suffer from unacceptable artifacts in the
reconstructions.)
