The program starts to give warnings if more than 200 conics were found.
As long as qmin was not defined too small (<<0.01) and
sigma too large (>>0.20), there should not be a serious
problem. In any case, it is possible to reduce the number of
conics found (in order of importance):
- Increase the minimum number of spots that the final conics should have,
as specified by mincon.
- Pick less spots using the peak-search algorithm of the xdisp program.
- Increase the value of qmin.
- Reduce the value of sigma.
