Current Position and Research Interests
I am currently a member of the scientific staff of the Department of
Crystal and Structural Chemistry at Utrecht University. My main tasks
are determining crystal structures within the frame work of National NWO-CW/UU
Single Crystal Service Facility and the education of students.
Working for the National Service Facility, I see a lot of crystal
structures, determined by X-ray crystallography. Within the service
centre I specialize in non-bonding interactions (hydrogen bonding,
co-crystals, supramolecular chemistry...). Some of the most beautiful
structures (subjective selection) are reproduced
here .
