THE EUROPEAN COMMUNITY ACCESS PROGRAMMES TO LLB : NMI3

LLB has been recognized as "Large Scale Facility" by the European Union in the frame of the Human Capital and Mobility (1992), Training and Mobility of Researchers (1995), Improving Human Potential (1999) and 6^th framework (2003) programmes. This has allowed to receive a considerable number of individual european users (more than 400 since 1993). Up to now, more than 250 publications have come from the experiments supported by the HCM, TMR-LSF, IHP and FP6 programmes.

LLB has been selected in 2004 as a large facility within the Neutron Muon Integrated Infrastructure Initiative. The new contract (NMI3-CT-2003-505925) runs for 4.5 years, from 1^st may 2004.
